It grips my chest

It pulls me deep

Pain radiates my bones

Deep within me

Thunder

Lightning

Rain

A down pouring of emotion

The ground is dry

Begins to soak through the cracks

Fills them

Consumes them

Consumes me

I sink into the earth

Decaying into it

Sound of falling water

Drowns my thoughts

Clouds my judgement

There is only darkness here

The light has faded long ago.
